One life.
More than one chapter.
From Saigon, Vietnam, Nguyễn Huỳnh Thu Trúc brought 13 years of banking experience to a new chapter in education. She wanted to do more, and went on to run schools.
Then COVID-19 disrupted the education sector. For Trúc, the pause also became a time to reflect, reconnect with family and consider a different path.
During quarantine, at 50, she started NEWBAM: a new beginning, with a dream of sharing Vietnamese food with the world.

NEWBAM takes its name from New Bamboo. In the founder’s story, bamboo represents strength, resilience and flexibility, with a close connection to Vietnamese culture.
“New” marks the start of another journey. Together, New Bamboo expresses the possibility of beginning again, while staying connected to your roots.

Trúc’s dream was to bring Vietnamese food to the world. NEWBAM carries that spirit through roasted cashews made in Vietnam and flavors to discover, enjoy and share.
